A calm, thoughtfully curated shop & creative workshop space in Towcester
Slow-living gifts, curated with care from small makers, seasonal rituals, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds —
plus relaxed, creative workshops designed as a pause from everyday life.
So many gift shops feel loud, rushed or overly polished.
I wanted to create something quieter — a place to browse slowly, discover beautiful things, and enjoy choosing without pressure.

The Slow Live Workshops
At The Slow Life, workshops aren’t about learning a skill or making something impressive. They’re a chance to slow down, to step out of your head and into your hands. Each session is designed as a quiet pause – simple, tactile, and unhurried. You don’t need talent. You don’t need experience. Just a few hours of time, a calm space, and the wish to make something real.

How The Slow Life Began
The idea for The Slow Life came in 2024, during a season when life felt full but strangely crowded. Between work, family and constant demands, I realised what I was really missing wasn’t more guidance – it was space.
A place to slow down. To breathe. To choose things with care.
So I created what I couldn’t find: a small, carefully curated shop filled with simple, beautiful pieces that invite a gentler pace of life.
The Slow Life is my answer to the rush – and an invitation to pause, even if just for a moment.
